I don’t know about you, but talking about yourself can always seem a little awkward. Not knowing where to start, what is to much and not enough information and how can you gage the audience to stay… I guess I’ll start and see where this go’s!
Hi My name is Taylor. I am 20 years old and I live in Oregon. Sweet, beautiful, RAINY Oregon. Growing up, from 3-18 years of age, I danced at a little studio a couple minutes away from my actual home. Dance for me was like a second home. A place I always felt comfortable and wished to be when I was at my real home. The place I forgot about my social anxiety and I was this outgoing girl who wasn’t afraid of anything… My home away from home..
When I turned eighteen, like normal “adults”, I went to community college. Oh, how much I hated it. But I did it to make my mother happy… I find we do a lot to make our parents happy.. Anyways, I decided after the first term there I would NEVER go back. Yes, that’s how much I hated school.. Over a course of a month after that term ended I found myself enrolled in Beauty school for hair, nails and esthetics, and wondering what the hell I got myself into… Throughout beauty school I found my passion was in healing..
Back story time.
Growing up my sister had HORRIBLE acne and I found myself watching as she cried and hated her face feeling sad for her. I could, of course, never say anything because I had no zits. Not even a black head in sight. As high school ended for her, her skin was glowing and beautiful.. But of course, What I never was thankful enough for, I lost… My senior year I was hit with cystic acne like a ton of bricks and couldn’t even leave the house without makeup on.
Back to beauty school.
I started school 27, January 2015. The summer following my acne was SO bad I couldn’t even touch my face.. Luckily I was going through Esthetics and learning all sorts of things about the skin. How not only environmental aspects contribute to skin disorders and diseases, but the inside of your body also contributes as well. What you eat, drink, medicine you take, everything. I then became fascinated with health, fitness and beauty. Fast forward to 1, October 2016… I Graduated school, Got a job as a Hairdresser and I am on a mission to help/heal as many people as I can mentally, spiritually and physically..
This blog is an inside look to my life. I hope you enjoy!
